Biography
John Sutton is a senior lawyer with 14 years experience in criminal law including five years as a NSW Police Prosecutor. Prior to joining Armstrong Legal John was employed inter state conducting protracted prosecutions of corrupt police officers with a particular focus on drug squad detectives. Prior to this while practicing law in NSW John assisted many clients in matters ranging from sexual assault, serious assault, robbery, drug possession and importation and asset confiscation matters. He has also dealt with many of the major traffic related matters including PCA and speeding.
Boasting experience in Local, Children’s, District and Supreme Courts John has the knowledge and ability to confidently guide you through the maze of the criminal law system. John is admitted to practice in the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court’s of New South Wales and Victoria, he has also appeared in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal of NSW and the Guardianship Tribunal.
